S2, E7: Ask The Experts – Empowering Students with Dyslexia

For strategies and advice to empower your child with dyslexia, on this episode of “A World of Difference,” we turn to the experts:

Jen Burch, a former molecular biologist, is a reading remediation specialist for The Dyslexia Resource at The Schenck School in Atlanta, Georgia, working to remediate students in an underserved public school in Atlanta.

Rosemarie DeJarnett is a professor of reading and literacy at Beacon College in Leesburg, Florida.

Dr. Dennis Eastman is Director of Secondary Education Biola University in La Mirada, California, a former high school principal, and the father of five children who have learning needs, including three with severe dyslexia.

Dr. Nicole Tetreault Is a neuroscientist who specializes in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders. She is the author of “Insight into a Bright Mind: A Neuroscientist’s Personal Stories of Unique Thinking.”
